If you love essential oils as much as I do, you are always looking for creative ways to use them. Supporting good sleep is something I’m constantly trying to do with an eighteen-month-old who is not the world’s best sleeper. I have been using this rub at night made with essential oils to support good sleep and it is amazing. So amazing that my 86-year-old grandma uses it and raves about it, along with many people who have made this at our make & takes. I have had so many people tell me they love to make this product with their oils. We are always looking for ways to remove toxic items from our home and make more all natural products. We have also made the switch to more organic and green living. Make sure to check out all of our essential oil posts.
Our journey started over a year ago when I met a friend in Texas who shared her oils with me for an issue I was having, and I have been in love ever since. We now help over 1,400 families on their oily journeys across the US, Canada, and beyond. We would love to help your family become an “oily family” as we call it. How to Make Bedtime Rub With Essential Oils
Ingredients:
- 1/3 C coconut oil
- 12 drops of lavender
- 12 drops of cedarwood
- 12 drops of Peace & Calming
Directions:
- Melt the coconut oil over low heat until it is a liquid consistency.
- Remove from heat & mix in essential oils.
- Pour into a 4oz. canning jar (I get mine from Walmart here). In the store they are cheaper, around $9 for 12. It’s nice if you have a glass measuring cup with a pour spout.
