Great Homemade Household Cleaners
As we have worked toward a minimalist lifestyle, we have learned how much money, space and time is saved by utilizing our favorite homemade household cleaners. These are frugal cleaners that get us through the months budget with ease. Not only are we shaving hundreds of dollars a year off our household budget, but I love the fact that these are mostly natural solutions that have far fewer chemicals to expose our family to.
Homemade Miracle Cleaner: You’ve heard the wonders of vinegar and Dawn dishwashing liquid as cleaners, and this combination makes a miracle cleaner that we love. Great for cleaning grout, built on soap scum, and simply for sanitizing and cleaning everything from kitchen sinks and counters to your shower.
Homemade Window Cleaner: I love this simple window cleaner to get rid of stains and streaks on windows, glass and mirrors. It’s simple, effective and most of all super frugal!
Homemade Foaming Hand Soap: We use to spend far too much money on scented foaming hand soap. Then I discovered how easy it was to make my own, and for a fraction of the cost! No longer am I spending $3-$4 per bottle of soap. Now I can make a whole new bottle of foaming hand soap for pennies!
Homemade Spray Fabric Refresher: I use to buy Febreeze constantly to get rid of odors on our furniture, bedding and curtains. Even just that musty smell after we came home from a weekend away would bring out the Febreeze, and of course pet odors always bring it out. This homemade spray fabric refresher is a great inexpensive choice that is amazing and safe on any fabric!
Homemade Laundry Detergent: This is often the first product people make homemade, and it works so great everyone gets hooked right away. A few simple inexpensive ingredients create a ton of powder laundry detergent in no time. Add a few drops of essential oils if you want them to be scented differently, but the traditional scent of the soaps included is fresh and clean. I love this recipe!
Homemade Fabric Softener Crystals: I love using these in my laundry to not only soften, but add a bit of extra freshness to our laundry. This method is cheaper than the store brands, but a bit more expensive than our next homemade idea for fabric softening. Try them both and see which works best for your family!
Homemade Fabric Softener Sheets: This is a super easy and simple way to make a great fabric softener. I like to keep these on hand as well as the recipe for crystals above. They both have their own benefits. This one is definitely a bit cheaper to make, but not by much.

STOCK FUNDS are the riskiest type of fund, and there are many varieties.
In case if stocks of some of the companies perform badly at least
the loss won’t be total. For people looking to protect and grow
their capital, a portfolio which combines some low risk bank deposits and bonds with property and shares, (including some overseas),
is still hard to beat.
