Looking for an easy banana bread recipe to compliment your upcoming holiday dinners? This is it! This banana bread not only tastes amazing, but fills your home with a rich yummy scent, another sure indication the holidays are here.
What you will need:
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
2 cups Flour
2 Eggs
3 Mashed Bananas
Preheat your oven to 350*F and grease a 9×5 loaf pan. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt.
In a smaller bowl combine brown sugar and butter, mix until creamy
Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended
Begin to add the banana mixture into the flour mixture
Be sure to stir together, only enough to get the mixture moist
Pour batter into greased loaf pan and bake for about 45 mins. Because most ovens vary you may need to check yours sooner. The best way to tell if your banana bread is done is by sticking a wooden toothpick in the middle of the loaf. If it comes out clean it’s done. Once you take your bread out of the oven, let it cool for about 10 mins and enjoy. I like to eat it when it is still warm and fresh out of the oven. Be sure to store in an airtight container
