It’s that time of year, and we’re always looking for ways to lose weight & get healthy for FREE, right?! We’ve rounded up the top FREE Fitness & Health apps to help you stick to your New Year’s Resolutions.
1. My Fitness Pal– Count calories, track your exercise and more with the FREE version of MyFitnessPal! I personally used this app before conceiving and LOVE it!! It’s my all-time favorite, and its FREE!
2. Map My Run- My second favorite app! I would track my daily runs (this was before pregnancy, of course0, and it would even show my running stats on Facebook to hold me accountable!
3. Lose It– Similar to Fitness Pal, this one will help you get on track with healthy eating and exercise habits!
4. Web MD Apps– Want to find out what could be ailing you? WebMD.com has been optimized for your smartphone! Now it’s easier than ever to access trusted health and wellness information anytime, anywhere!
5. Period Tracker – (iPhone) or Android. I’m terrible about keeping track of my cycle, and this is a great app to help you remember your last cycle. Everytime I go to the doctor and they ask, it takes me a good 5 minutes to figure it out!
6. Weight Watchers App- Still one of the best boxed weight loss programs available! Now you can track points on the go!
7. iTriage– Developed by two ER doctors, you can check out your symptoms, and even check into the hospital AND check on ER wait times!
8. Babycenter’s My Pregnancy Today App– This has been my go-to app for my entire pregnancy! It gives you daily tips and week by week changes! I LOVE it!! Simply enter your baby’s due date, and BabyCenter My Pregnancy Today turns your phone into an expert guide for each day of your pregnancy. Feel more prepared for your baby’s birth and get the answers you need, whenever you need them.
9. Instant Heart Rate- (Android) or (iPhone) – Uses the camera our finger, on your phone to track color changes in your heart rate! SO COOL!
