This weekend I decided to test run my ideas for Valentine’s Day Pancake Breakfast (since Valentine’s Day is on Friday, and we have to be to school pretty early), and I wanted to give my readers a few ideas as well! I totally admit that I’m a Valentine’s Day fanatic! I put our pink and purple banner with hearts out front on the banner pole, and I even have Valentine’s Day themed tea towels and place mats! YES, I even have heart shaped plates too! I can’t help myself! I just love everything about Valentine’s Day, possibly from a nostalgia of decorating my shoe box at school years ago only to find treats and notes in my box! 
As you can see, we decided on just adding some pink food coloring to the pancake mix. In the first photo I love the strawberries with the pink pancakes, because it completely says Valentine’s Day to me. In the second one, I love the cookie cutter heart shaped pancake. This is such a simple, cute way to celebrate a day of love first thing in the morning!! Let us know by commenting if you plan on doing anything special for Valentine’s Day!
