I am always looking for ways to use my Young Living essential oils in my cooking, and I love this Homemade Granola Recipe. I’m also always looking for ways to cook for my family so we’re not buying and eating prepackaged foods. I’ve always been a pioneer of sorts, and loved reading books by Laura Ingalls Wilder about living out on the prairie and making everything from scratch. This recipe definitely made me feel like the “crunchy granola mom” – pun intended. You will definitely want to check out all of our homemade essential oil products. The picture below shows them as the final bars. Don’t worry, if you don’t have any essential oils, you can substitute the same spices.
This is definitely a test of sorts as it’s the first time I’ve made granola at home, and my family has given the thumbs up about the recipe. They love the taste, and you will have the option to turn it into cereal or bars. I was able to get several smaller (not perfectly shaped) bars from this recipe as well. Since granola can be made so many different ways, you could also add organic chocolate to this recipe, chopped peanuts, and more to add more. protein as well.
