Part of the process of being a personal trainer is to help clients decide their Body Mass Index (BMI), goal weight, and daily calorie intake. This Body Mass Index free printable chart from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute is the one I use with clients. Simply find your height in inches, and head over to your current weight, and that is your BMI number. You can also see your goal BMI from this chart as well. I allow clients to pick where they feel they would like to fall, and what they feel is realistic for their frame. Make sure to check out our entire Healthy section of the blog while you are here. Please note that this is all part of my 9 Pillars of Wellness program.
Once we have their BMI calculated, we head over to this online calorie calculator to help them determine their range of daily intake they should consume in terms of calories. We then work on their three wellness goals, and their testing, which is usually the one mile test. However, I really felt that this is a great goal sheet for the everyday self-trainer as well. If you are looking to manage your weight, feel free to print our Weight Goal Worksheet below! It’s a JPEG, but prints as an 8.5 x 11 on paper. Just click on the image and print! Then head over and print our Free Food Diary and Calorie Counter Printable Tracker.
