Heating up the red carpet in Brooks Brothers (him), Zac Posen, Christian Louboutin and Fred Leighton (her), this “It” couple made quite the scene. Miss Piggy was wearing 175 carats worth of antique jewels! They definitely make an awesome “IT” couple.
Now that we have all raved about how wonderful Miss Piggy and Kermit looked walking the red carpet, let’s talk about what tonight is REALLY about, the movie.
In this heart warming tale of good versus evil we find that an evil oil tycoon has discovered that there is black gold under the old Muppet Theater, which has been neglected and become quite run down over the years. It is up to a Muppets SUPER FAN named Walter, and two of his best friends Mary (played by Amy Adams) and Gary (played by Jason Segel) to help the Muppets save the theater. It is decided that the they will put on a telethon to raise the ten million dollars necessary to save the place they used to call home. The only problem is the once tight knit Muppet gang is spread out all over the country and leading lives of their own! Walter, Gary, and Mary work together with Kermit to start rounding everyone up and putting together the best Muppets show yet, but will it be enough to keep their cherished theater safe from destruction?
