We’re bringing you another AWESOME recipe tonight! And we haven’t even gotten to our Cheap Eats by E recipe yet this week! Hubby made an AMAZING Alfredo Sauce from scratch tonight, and we’re bringing you the recipe and a video with the details of how he made it! Sorry my camera doesn’t take better pictures, because it looked and tasted like heaven!!!!
The Ingredients: (This recipe makes about 4 servings)
- 1/4 C Butter
- 1 C Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Tbsp minced Garlic
- 1/2 C Parmesan Cheese
- Â 1 Tbsp. Dried Parsley
- 1 Tbsp. Sesame Oil (Adds flavor when you pan fry chicken)
- 1/2 Chicken Breast (You can add more if you like a lot of chicken)
- Enough pasta for your family (the pasta of your choice)
Directions:
1. Boil enough water to cook the pasta for your family. While the water is heating, pan fry the chicken breast in olive oil with a Tbsp. of Sesame oil until brown and cooked thoroughly.
2. In a sauce pan, add butter, whipping cream, garlic, parmesan cheese and parsley over medium heat. Be careful not to burn sauce, and it does not need to boil.
3. After you drain your pasta, toss the chicken, pasta, and sauce together to make one yummy meal!!! You can also substitute crab or shrimp to make another type of alfredo!!
