Basically, when you visit either of these websites, you will find your desired online store (For example, you want to buy a Barbie doll at ToysRUs.com). Then, you will go through that third party website, which will take you to your desired website (ShopAtHome.com provides a ticket number for this), and then when you purchase an item from the site, you will get a certain amount of cash back.
This cash back percentage will vary, and sometimes these sites run specials on how much percentage of cash back you will receive on your purchase. The good news, is that BOTH websites offer a sign-up credit. You pick a gift card at Ebates, and once you make your first purchase at ShopAtHome.com, you will get a $5 Credit. Also, I use my cash back credit card when I make purchases from these sites, which also maximizes my savings. HOWEVER, you MUST pay the balance in full each month for this to be economically savvy!!! If you’re just going to pay interest, don’t use your credit card! I was able to score hubby BRAND new Sketcher athletic shoes for around $25 SHIPPED! This was a GREAT savings to our family, and I really love working with these two companies to get items for less money- especially since this savings is almost always on top of STORE COUPON savings!!!!
