If you haven’t heard much about this movie yet, it’s Superman on steroids! Man of Steel is a super-charged story about Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) and Lois Lane (Amy Adams), who discovers his super powers at a young age, only to need them later in life while saving his planet from annihilation! This story seems to follow much of the original facts, but the storyline is dramatically different in cinematography from the Superman I remember as a child (This Christopher Reeves)! What I love most about Superman is that his strength, while shown in brute force, always centers around his inner strength and how he has an ethical and appropriate response to evil. Many times shoot-em-up movies are all about the action, with no character. What I love about Superman IS his character displayed in how he handles himself in tough situations!
As you can see, my little man is pretty excited about this movie! We have more super hero outfits than I can count!
All I had to do was show him the trailer, and he was ready to go to the movies now! I told him we had to wait!
Because of today’s CGI and special effects, he was never impressed with the original Superman, so I’m so excited to see him pumped about the latest version!
