This Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron is exactly what I was looking for in a curling iron. I loved my Babyliss Flat Iron, and still use it daily, so I was very excited about trying another Babyliss product. My hair is so wavy and hard to style, that I usually have to turn my irons up to the highest setting. As a teacher I don’t have a lot of time in the mornings, so I’m always looking for a quick way to style my hair. I also need a style that keeps the hair out of my face, because of the germs in my classroom.
This curling iron retails for $89.99 on FlatIronExperts.com.
I really needed a larger size barrel for softer curls. This is a 1 1/4″ barrel. The heat temperature is adjustable, with the temperature adjustment knob on one side, and the on/off switch on the other side. The handle is made of a soft, black rubber, and is just the right size.
I was also sent this QT Performance Temptress Paddle Cushion Brush, which retails for $14.99 on FlatIronExperts.com. I love using this brush to create volume and a sleek, smooth, and shiny style. This is the best type of brush to use before using a flat iron or curling iron.
As you can see my hair is a hot mess in the mornings after I wash it and blow it dry. I have to style my hair everyday or my coworkers would think I was ill. I often pull my hair back out of my face with a clip. To achieve this look I simply used the paddle brush to smooth the hair and create volume. Next, I used the curling iron to create big, wavy curls at the bottom of the hair I pulled back with a clip. This is a perfect hairstyle that looks good and helps me cope in the classroom.
If you are in the market for either of these products, I highly recommend these two items together, as you can see how terrible my hair looked before styling it.
