So for those of you that have been with us for a while you may have known that my husband and I were expecting our third child last month. Well, this was a wonderful opportunity to do a review on a Carseat Canopy. In fact, I was given the opportunity to review the Whole Caboodle from Carseat Canopy which includes the regular Carseat Canopy, plus a Car seat Slipcover, Head Support, Car seat umbrella, and a Lap Blanket. 
I was so excited because we are still using our original car seat that we purchased in 2008 when we had our son, and though it’s a gender neutral color I was ready for a change, but I didn’t want to spend the money to purchase a brand new seat, plus I couldn’t find anything I was just in love with.
When I came across the Belle print from Carseat Canopy I was instantly in love. The colors were even more beautiful when I opened the package. The lavender minky dot fabric on the inside of the canopy, bottom of the blanket blanket, making up the entirety of the car seat slipcover, and head support is SO INCREDIBLY SOFT! Plus, the gray fabric compliments it so well that it just looks gorgeous. I will tell you that I have a Chicco Keyfit car seat and everything fits it perfectly with the exception of the slipcover, but I had already expected that because it’s designed differently then most of the car seats on the market. Our little one arrived a few weeks ago and I have grown to love our Carseat Canopy more and more! The slipcover and lap blanket help keep her cozy and warm, plus the umbrella and Carseat Canopy keep the snow & rain off of her. The other thing we love is that it keeps the sun out of her eyes. Nothing is worse then a sleeping baby woken up as the sun glares through the window right into their face! Something else we appreciate is that it keeps the wind off of her. Wind around here can be terrible and chills you to the bone, but with the Carseat canopy down that hasn’t been a problem.

This brings up another fantastic perk about using the Carseat Canopy. With our oldest we used to toss a blanket over the handle of the car seat to keep him covered, but that can cause the handle to be quite difficult to grip. With the Carseat Canopy it attaches TO the handle without covering it up so you can actually grip the carrier properly so no more worrying about your hand slipping!
