As a mom of three boys, I’m always looking for healthy, quick snacks. I love this Chocolate Hazelnut Fruit Toast recipe. This is a quick go-to recipe in the summer, especially if your littles love bread and fruit. My boys devour fruit all summer long, so this recipe is a staple in our house on summer afternoons. I also love the fact that this snack recipe isn’t complicated, and doesn’t have a ton of in depth steps, but yet provides a healthy snack alternative. There are also so many ways you can modify this toast. Gluten free toast, peanut free spread, etc. This is a great starter recipe where you can make it your own.
Obviously, some hazelnut spreads are more healthy than others, so you will need to make the best choice when you’re at the store. I love this one by Pyure. It’s organic and is vegan and peanut free. I also love this sugar-free option as well by Belgian. There are so many ways that you can modify this recipe based on your family’s specific needs. I also love to drip some lemon essential oil over this recipe too! Other times we will switch out the fruit, and I love using bananas at times instead of berries. You can also use local honey instead of the hazelnut spread. I hope you enjoy this Chocolate Hazelnut Fruit Toast recipe as much as our family.

Do you have a different version of this recipe? Do you have some tips for how you make your fruit toast? I’d love to hear in the comments!
