We have some great Christmas Decoration organizing tips for you this year! Make sure you check them out below, and you won’t be disappointed!
1. How to store your Christmas tree.
Yes, that is cling wrap all around my Christmas tree. This year hubby wanted to try it, and since we have the room to store it this way, I figured why not! This was definitely an easy way to store it for the year, and will only take a few minutes to unwrap, plus the lights are already on the tree! I wanted to share some other great Christmas decoration organizational ideas from the web, so I went to Pinterest, and you can see some of the pins I found below!
- For trees that are disassembled each year, make sure each level of branches are color coded (They usually come this way, but if not, use colored flags used to bookmark pages), you can use zip ties, twine, or rubber bands to keep colors together.
2. Four ways to store wrapping paper.
3. How to store ornaments.
- If your ornaments are small enough, you can store them in used egg cartons.
- Clear tote boxes
- Use plastic cups in plastic bins.
4. How to store your lights.
- Wrap your lights around a piece of cardboard. Hubby just did this today!
- Use a hanger to wrap your lights.
5. How to store wreaths & door decor.
- We use a hanger for these types of decorations and hang them from a clothing line in our basement.
6. How to store gift tags, tape, scissors, and smaller items.
- For smaller items, I use labeled baby wipe boxes. This is a great way to store smaller items without spending any money on storage. Really, there are so many empty containers that Americans throw away everyday that can be used for storage in so many ways!
