Ummm…Yeah… You read that correctly, and I’m talking serious food high. This is amazing. My sister in law has got to be one of the world’s best cooks, and she made this for us the other morning for breakfast.
Cinnamon French Toast With Pecans, Bananas, & Chocolate Chips

Ingredients
- French Toast:
- Loaf of French bread, sliced
- 6 Eggs
- 1 tbsp. Vanilla extract
- 1½ tsp. Cinnamon
- ¼ Cup Milk
- 1 tbsp. butter
- Maple syrup, to taste
- Topping:
- 1 Cup Chopped Pecans
- ½ Cup Chocolate Chips
- 1½ Bananas, sliced
- ⅓ Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp. White Sugar
- 2 tbsp. Butter
Instructions
- Whisk eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and milk until combined.
- Meanwhile toast pecans in a skillet with butter and add bananas.
- Once warmed through, remove from heat and sprinkle chocolate chips on top to melt.
- Dip sliced French bread into egg mixture and place in large skillet with butter until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve with Pecan topping mixture and drizzle with maple syrup.
