eMeals Meal Planning Service & App Review

Being a full-time teacher makes cooking dinner probably one of my least favorite chores. Growing up with a single mom, we didn’t cook a lot of big meals for both of us, so I wasn’t raised around home-cooked meals all the time. Plus, I was an extremely picky eater, so this made cooking difficult for my mom too.  I was recently given the opportunity to review eMeals online Meal Planning Service and their new App for iPhone or Android.  I’m so excited to share more about this program with you, because it’s completely what I needed to get a jump start on meal planning for my family.

eMeals has over 10 meal plans to choose from which include the following:

-Classic Meals
-Clean Eating
-Paleo
-Slow Cooker
-Simple Gourmet
-Low Carb
-Low Fat
-Portion Control
-Natural & Organic
-Gluten Free
-Vegetarian
You can also build your menu around a particular store, and their sales. This is a great way to eat healthy and stick to your budget! Once you pick your plan, you can either have your weekly menu plan sent to your email or load it directly on your app. I LOVE the app features, because I don’t have to make a grocery list. I just go right to the store and shop from my grocery list within the app itself. Making dinner can not get any easier than this.

We chose the Low Car Family Plan for Walmart. So this week we are having Grilled Stuffed Zucchini, Buffalo Chicken Wings, Lemon Baked Cod, Cheeseburger Pie, Barbecue Pork Chops, and Shrimp Salad. I’ve already been to the store and purchased all the ingredients from the shopping list in my app. Now I just have to cook! Just wish the app could do that for me too! 😉
