We have a large collection of bathtub toys that seems to multiply quicker than I can keep track of. And, of course, the kid doesn’t usually do the best job cleaning up afterwards…
Do you have this problem too?
Here’s what we did:
1. I grabbed a few of our empty gallon milk jugs and decided on a simple design that would do the trick.
2. This is the pattern I drew, to make a good-sized ‘mouth’ and still retain the structural integrity of the jug.
3. Next, I cut/poked a few holes on the bottom, so the scoop would drain effectively. Not too big, not too small. Trial and error until you figure out what works best for you.
Tah Dah! My daughter LOVED scooping her toys up and watching the water drain out. I decided to make at least 2 scoops to help contain all her bathtub treasures.
AND BONUS USE:
This scoop also work really well when rinsing off shampoo.
