Anywhooooo…. moving on! We know that knowledge is power, and I want to bring you the best information to help you reach your wellness goals. However, there are several key areas that help build overall wellness, and I’ve tried to put them into the pillars so they can be easily memorized. This will also help you remember key areas of wellness to work on each day. I’ve categorized all this amazing information into these 9 key areas:
- Hydration – Because most people do not drink enough water on a daily basis. Did you know that 95% of your urine alone consists of water only? Your kidneys requires 1 1/2 -2 liters of water daily to help the body filter out toxins. Learn how to develop your own Hydration Protocol.
- Nutrition – Part of my CPT certification required two main courses in nutrition. I was amazed at how much I didn’t know about nutrition. For many years I felt I ate pretty healthy, but after taking this course, I realized how much I didn’t know about what foods I needed to be eating and why. We will be working on articles that will help you understand the processes in the body and how each body system works in conjunction with the foods we eat. Just like you wouldn’t put oil in your gas tank, you need to eat nutrient dense foods to help your body function properly. We will be talking extensively about Nutrition in the upcoming weeks.
- Movement – Exercise is another key component of wellness. The benefits of exercise have been written about for centuries. Making sure you have a personalized exercise plan is key. Tailoring exercise to fit your life is extremely important in today’s fast paced society. Women are busy working, raising kids, and often don’t have the time to go to the gym. Finding a tailored exercise plan to fit your lifestyle is the first step towards success in making permanent healthy lifestyle changes. Our program can help you do just that. The only item you will want to purchase for this entire program is a Fit Bit. Check out the one I use, but know that there are way nicer versions now! I’m just sharing this cheaper one because y’all know I’m frugal!
- Supplementation – When looking at the busyness of the average mom, well-planned meals become more and more difficult. Many times we are eating on the run and supplements can often provide our bodies with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that we aren’t getting from our diet. This is why I started supplementing my body with the Core Five from Young Living several years ago. Figuring out which supplements are right for you is crucial in helping your body function at its best.
- Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Wellness are key aspect of our program as well, and these areas will be assessed in your personal program that we will design. We can provide many strategies for implementing wellness in these areas and will work with you on moving forward with change.
- Sleep Wellness – The statistics on sleep are staggering. So many people struggle with sleep disorders, issues that affect their sleep, and poor sleep hygiene. Getting proper sleep is crucial in functioning as a whole person.
- Non-toxic Living – We live in a world that is inundated with chemical toxins. This affects our other states of wellness on a scale that we probably don’t even realize. In Young Living we call this Ditch & Switch, where you throw out toxic, chemical laden products, for all-natural, plant based products.
All of the Pillars are crucial for living a life that is filled with harmony and peace. Each of these areas if left unchecked can lead to many negative effects. I’d love to have you come on this journey with me. To schedule your free personal training session, head over to Free Personal Training Session Directions Page!
