Have you ever had the fun of blowing out an egg? I have blown out eggs since I was a little girl at my grandma’s house! It’s so much fun, and the best part is you can keep the egg!!! We’re going to show you how to blow out an egg so you can keep it.
Now, my hubby is super artistic, so he’s GREAT at the coloring part! However, I always hate to see his artwork get cracked and eaten! LOL This is a GREAT way to display your egg artwork year after year!
How To Blow Out An Egg:
1. First you take a pin/needle and a small hammer. Tap the needle with the hammer into the top of the egg. You will be blowing from the larger end of the egg, so that hole can be smaller. The hole at the other end (narrow end) will need to be a little bigger, so take the needle and rotate it around in a circle. Sometimes we even tap a little more of the shell away.
2. Once you have your holes, place the bowl under your egg and start blowing!
3. Another tip is to take the needle and break the yolk apart in the inside so it comes out easier.
4. Paint your egg and voila! You have a keepsake egg! Now you just have to paint it! 🙂

I wonder if you did the trick where you basically scramble the egg inside the shell would make it easier to blow out also.
