One of the GREAT activities we’ve secured for our VA Beach Getaway Giveaway (Enter HERE) is a two-ticket visit to Jungle Golf! There are so many great things about Jungle Golf! This facility has an 18-hole jungle themed mini-golf course, a game room, and a snack bar (both are air conditioned). It is located at the corner of 22nd Street and Pacific Avenue! Once you pay for your golf ticket, you park for FREE!
Let me tell you why I LOVE Jungle Golf! Besides all the great activities, they have unlimited golf between midnight and 6p.m. This is how you benefit: You arrive at the Jungle Golf parking lot, you purchase one ticket for each person in your vehicle (whoever doesn’t want to play does not have to pay for a ticket), then you can park for FREE and play golf ALL DAY! This means you can walk down to the beach, and come up and play golf, play in arcade, get something to eat, or use their restroom facilities!). This is available from Midnight until 6p.m. If you come between 6p.m. and Midnight, you only receive one game of golf. Either way, this is better than paying for parking with no access to the amenities listed above!
The 18-hole course is very well kept, and each green has a new challenge. We loved the interspersed jungle animals!
There is also a rain forest affect, with misty areas, which is neat!
The rock waterfall is also neat, and brings character to the golf course!
The snack bar also is a nice AIR CONDITIONED place to hang out and grab some snacks!
The restroom is located in the snack bar area, and you will need to decide if you are Tarzan or Jane 🙂
The Game Room is a larger area with many activities such as pool, air hockey, traditional games (such as Ms. Pac Man) or newer games! Also, it is located near the parking lot, so this is actually where we started on our Jungle adventure.
This are also has Skee Ball, but didn’t even get to some of the games!
Of course we played this one, because it had candy! LOL
This was a GREAT experience for our family, and we really enjoyed our time at Jungle Golf! We chose to go on an evening after dinner, since we were with family during the day. However, I still this the best deal is going during the day and having access to the parking, restrooms, air conditioning, etc. I will definitely go again next year!
