We were recently given the opportunity to review Leapfrog’s LeapStart Learning System with our two-year-old son. It has been really hard to get my little guy to sit still for very long with any activity, and I noticed he has at most a fifteen minute attention span with any one activity.
We were sent two of the LeapStart Learning Systems to try, and we were given several books at various levels with different skills sets. Obviously, we started with the pre-school level books that cover counting and letters. Our son can count to ten and we are currently working on counting to twenty at this time, so these were perfect activities to complement what we have been discovering at home.
The LeapStarts is an all-in-one interactive early learning systems designed for littles in Preschool through 1st grade. The systems work with a library of repayable activity books (sold separately, $12.99). Each one comes with a sampler book too! These are designed to help build key skills and challenge kids to get ready for the next step in learning. Get them excited about STEM, social skills, reading comprehension, and more.
The stylus is designed for little hands, and pen control. There is a complete library of 16 activity books, and each learning level contains over fifty key skills. The LeapStart is portable, and our son has been able to play with it in the car, on the go, and at home. This device requires two AA batteries, not included. Additional activity books are sold separately. Check out our quick video below!
