Today we’re going to teach you how to make a car trash can for as low as $1.00! You will need three items: a plastic cereal box (we purchased ours at a local dollar store), some velcro, and a plastic shopping bag. We already had our velcro, so this project only cost us $1.00!

Place a velcro piece on your plastic cereal box, then place the other piece where you will place the trash can in your car. We decided on the back of the front passenger side seat, because when we pick up our son from the bus stop, we also take a cousin home each day, and they accumulate the most trash. This location will make it easy for them to put their snack packing and juice pouches directly in the trash can.
Simply add your paper bag, and make sure to keep extras in the car. Just attach to your secured location in the car and you’re done!
