You know when you walk into the Verizon store and the workers start drooling that you’ve hit the jackpot on your new phone! LOL That’s what happened to me when I walked in to buy my Otter Box cover for my new Droid Ultra by Motorla last week! I had just received my phone, and the clerk told me he hadn’t even seen one in person yet! I felt like I was carrying the Holy Grail!
I’m not sure where to start, because there are so many features I love about this phone. However, I’ll be posting about this phone for the next three months, so I don’t want to spoil all the surprises! Let’s just start out by stating that this is a Droid phone that runs on the Android Software, making it an amazingly smooth experience. The clarity is amazing, and when you turn the phone on, you feel like you’ve been catapulted about 100 years ahead of time.
Moving between the apps is extremely easy, and the selection of apps is exceptional and comparable to the apps available for my iPhone. I’ve already been Facebooking and Pinning on my Droid and love how fast it moves.
I also love the fact that I can enjoy all the same apps on this phone, and I’m a sucker for Amazon, so it’s compatibility with Amazon MP3, Kindle, etc. makes it my favorite phone at this point.
My mom is a nurse and said that the head physician in her office has the same phone and loves it for the size, and the fact that he can read it much easier than his previous phone. I do have to admit that the larger screen is nice, and makes me feel like my fingers are not that of a fairy tale giant as I do on my other phone.
In addition to the clarity, the camera and video have amazing and almost HD feel as well. I did notice that my pictures are slightly darker on this phone, so I will be using the flash more often. However, the picture quality is still fabulous. I will be taking many photos in the months to come!
