Today I went to CVS with two cards (mine and my mom’s). I had $7.99 in ECB’S when I went in, and I came out with $18 in ECB’s and spent about $20 out of pocket. (1 pack of Huggies Jean Diapers not picutred!)
When I printed at the coupon kiosk, I received a $5 ECB for over $50 in Beauty purchases on my mom’s card (Trust me, we never spent $50! LOL). She also received a $10 off $50. I received a $4 off huggies jean diapers.
First, I used my card to purchase the saline soltuion, and I used my $7.99 ECB (that I had when I walked in the store). The saline was $7.99 and I received $6 ECB. So, I really only spent about $1.99 (and that’s not even out of pocket). Then, I bought the Jean Diapers for $8.99-$4 ECB- $1.50 coupon. So, I spent about $3.49 on these.
Then, I went to my mom’s card, I had my two coupons for FREE shampoo. One for Pantene and one for Herbal Essence. I had a $2 coupon for the saline, a $1 coupon for the Purex Crystals, (2) $1 off the crest items, $3 off the Bengay, and $1 off the Bounty. These, in conjunction with the $10/$50 ECB, and the $5 Beauty ECB, I spent about $18. So, overall, I spent no more than $23 on this entire transaction. We DESPERATELY needed the dog bed for our new puppy, because he’s getting too big to be on our bed anymore! LOL Hopefully, this will help you see how we do deals! 🙂
