My husband has been hanging on for several months, and will soon be able to watch Voltron Season 2 which premieres exclusively on Netflix January 20, 2017! Following Season 1 cliffhanger, Season 2 of DreamWorks Voltron Legendary Defender sees the paladins scattered throughout the universe in wake of a tough battle with Zarkon, Haggar and the Galra Empire. The team will now face new challenges as they bring mighty Voltron back together and plot to take down Zarkon once and for all!
This past week, fans at New York Comic Con were treated to a sneak peek of Season 2 when the cast and crew screened a full episode and answered fan questions on the Main Stage at Javits Center. Voice actors Jeremy Shada (Lance) and Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge) joined executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery and story editor Tim Hedrick for a Teaser Reveal of Team Voltron.
The cast and crew shared some delectable details to the energetic and packed house. Did you know that: guest voice talent includes Weird Al; Pidge might be a hoarder and Hunk & Lance crash land on an underwater planet in the episode “The Depths”.
Fans were treated to the Voltron Playmates Toys which are coming to a store near you in January 2017 as well as the Voltron Collective.
