We were so excited when we found out we had a chance to review the Nickelodeon Suites Resort in Orlando! Our family is a HUGE Nickelodeon family (Like, we’re going to see Big Time Rush in concert THIS weekend!). Located RIGHT near Disney, the Nick Hotel is also a resort within itself! It includes its own waterpark, live shows, an arcade, a dining area, and TWO pool areas!
We started out our day by heading straight to the pool. As you know, Florida is HOT in July, and after spending 3 days at Disney, we were totally ready for some splash time! As a mom there were so many features that made this park so amazing. First, they had towels for you right near the pools (FREE of charge). You just return them before you head back to your room, which was so nice, because I didn’t have to lug all the towels poolside. You can also rent cabanas! PLUS, there is a massage tent RIGHT by the pool!! This is amazing, and completely creates the relaxing experience I wanted in a vacation!
As you can imagine, Disney was tremendously fun, but didn’t always create a relaxing experience for our family. Our three days at the Nick Hotel was nice to decompress from all the park activities! It was a perfect blend of fun for our son and relaxation for all of us!
One of the best things about staying at Nick Hotel was the Live Shows! We were able to see a LIVE Double Dare show, where they pick two families from the resort to be part of that evening’s festivities. Let’s just say there is lots of slime and fun gross stuff to watch!! This was SO MUCH fun for our entire family!
The other neat feature is that they have character dining experiences, and we were able to spend a character breakfast with Spongebob, Dora, & More!! I also have to mention that they have the BEST french toast sticks EVER! The food was really good! We were able to pick from eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast, fruit, pancakes, and much more!
We also watched a live Spongebob show, which was really cute, and even included the other characters from the show (even Plankton!). It was so neat to see our son so involved in the live shows!
The other great feature about staying at the Nick Hotel is that there is a FREE Shuttle to Disney! If you’re looking to spend a great time away from home, check out the Nick Hotel!
