This post is extremely hard to write, but after twenty years my marriage has ended and I’m currently a single mom with three boys. This has been extremely difficult for my family. While I won’t divulge personal details, I do want to share that I will again be sharing various ways of saving money on my blog. Many of you know that we started our Young Living business several years ago, and I’m so grateful for this business as it has allowed me to keep my boys in their family home. I have also been able to stay completely debt free other than my home mortgage and I now had to get a car payment so I had a more reliable car for me and my boys.
I started this blog when we began our IVF journey because it was over $30,000 two have our middle child. I desperately needed to focus on how to save money and this blog was my outlet. It saved my sanity and gave me an outlet during the almost two year wait it took us to save majority of that money in cash and when we paid off the small loan for that process.
There are many days that this process has almost crushed me. However, I will not let the label of “divorce” wreck my boys and their view of “family.” I tell them all the time we are still a family, and we will continue to push forward into this new life that we’ve been handed. We are so grateful for each and every reader that has joined us on this journey.
I’m excited to be sharing ways of saving money with our readers again, and doing it in as healthy way as possible this time! <3 Please continue to pray for my boys and I as we go through some transitions over the upcoming months. Much love to you all!
