Let me preface this with you may want to have a box of tissues handy. The beautiful little girl in the picture you see above is Miss Kylie Grace Overton. At only 3 years old she is fighting for her life. Just over a year ago she was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer and has undergone numerous chemotherapy treatments at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be helping. Now her parents are faced with decisions no one should ever have to make. Her last MRI showed that the treatments don’t seem to be helping. They must now decide if they will treat her with something more advanced that will have severe side effects with no idea if it will help or continue doing the treatments they’ve done over the past few months which doctors say will only buy her time. Kylie is only a month older then my son and I grew up twirling and dancing with her mother Nikki and her Aunt Sabra and Aunt Noelle. It breaks my heart to see this family go through things like this. Nikki is doing everything she can to keep a smile on Kylie’s face and she is trying to plan a trip to Disney World for the family. Some of the local businesses back home in Tennessee have decided to do a fundraiser for Kylie. It will take only a moment of your time.
