You’ve made it to the finish line. Pat yourself on the back, or give a loud shout for your achievement. Our 31 Day Spending Freeze is officially over today, but we have one more assignment for you. We don’t want you to finish our freeze without taking some time to reflect and gather any additional free resources we have for you. We have some resources that have cost us a lot of time, thought, and money, and we want you to print them or bookmark them. Check out our top resources:
1. Family Binder. If you haven’t printed out all of the components of the Family Binder, we encourage you to do it now. Don’t wait to get your life in order and organized. This will also help you save money. If you print all of those resources and follow the steps in our Financial Freedom Plan, you should notice a difference in your home and finances.
2. 35 Days to an Organized Home Challenge. This blog post series has helped motivate so many readers to get their lives organized, and we know this is a perfect compliment to our 25 Days to an Organized Home ebook, which has had over 12,000 downloads!
3. Go through the Spending Freeze again. Make sure to bookmark the category page for all of the Spending Freeze posts so you can access them at your convenience. Don’t be afraid to go through the program more than once. It is intended to help you grow, but sometimes that requires more than one trip around the mountain as we say in our home.
4. Follow our Debt Free Journey. Check back with us each month and see how we are doing with our own journey of becoming completely debt free. Each month we document our triumphs and our struggles, and we want you to know you aren’t alone in this journey.
After you have bookmarked or printed all of these resources, answer the following reflection questions:
1. How was I blessed during this spending freeze?
2. What changes do I need to make in my budgeting or organizing systems to achieve more efficiency? Examples- Do you need to get a lunch system in place, or do you need a better filing system for your bills?
3. Where do I still need to grow in terms of budgeting? Make a list of growth areas.
4. Have I marked a day once a month on my calendar for budgeting/organizing? Go through your calendar and mark at least one day per month where you can work on both of these.
We are so thrilled that you have gone through this freeze with us, and we want to continue to improve this program for others. Please comment your ideas and thoughts below on how we can make our program even more effective.
