2011 Sunday Coupon Insert ScheduleThanks to Savvy Shopper Central for this schedule!
The majority of coupons come out in the Sunday newspaper. They are in an insert (usually tucked away inside the center of the paper). The four main coupon inserts are:
- General Mills (GM)
- Proctor & Gamble (P&G)
- RedPlum (RP)
- SmartSource (SS)
The best newspapers are from metro areas. Rural area papers usually do not contain inserts or as many of them. If you have access to more than one major paper, check both out to see who has the better inserts. Inserts differ slightly from location to location.
Holiday weekends, generally, do not contain any coupon inserts. If you don’t actually read the paper, I wouldn’t bother purchasing one that week.

- 11/13/2011 – (1) SmartSource and (1) RedPlum inserts.
- 11/20/2011 – (1) SmartSource and (1) RedPlum inserts.
- 11/27/2011 – There are no inserts scheduled due to Thanksgiving.
December
- 12/04/2011 – (1) SmartSource, (1) RedPlum and (1) Proctor & Gamble inserts.
- 12/11/2011 – (1) SmartSource and (1) RedPlum inserts.
- 12/18/2011 – There are no inserts scheduled due to Christmas.
- 12/25/2011 – (1) Proctor & Gamble Insert
