Many times we don’t realize how the little things add up. We’re going to talk about 10 quick ways you can start saving money today. If you are unfamiliar with our site, look around, because we post ways to save every single day! However, we wanted to give you some quick starting points, so check out our top 10 list, and then comment your own ideas!
1. Give up your daily Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. Make your own coffee at home before you leave for work. Buy a Keurig or an expresso machine, if necessary. Get a coffee maker with a timer, and have your coffee ready for you when you wake up.
2. Put your loose change in a jar and cash it in twice a year. Put it all in your savings account.
3. Do your own mani/pedi.
4. Buy frozen pizzas instead of ordering delivery.
5. Make your own fabric softener liquid or sheets.
6. Make your own baked goods once a week instead of buying pre-packaged. Use a quick bread mix, and make this a “chore” for your kids.
7. Buy a coupon book and use them when eating out. My babysitter does this and then shares it with her daughter!
8. Replace one brand name article in your shopping cart with a generic or store brand. Just one. You pick.
9. Give up one magazine and read a book instead. You can buy a novel on your e-reader for less than you pay for “People”. (Check out our Kindle Freebie list for a FREE ebook!)
10. Make one of the cleaners listed below:
