I am totally in love with my Canon EOS Rebel T3i 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera! This picture above was taken with it, and I have NEVER taken a professional photography class in my life! It is the easiest point and shoot DLSR camera I’ve ever used, and the picture quality is amazing! Check out the quality of our photos just from a trip around town and fall flowers! These were taken with the setting on the camera that actually has the small symbol of a flower, and I got in very close on the flower and pointed and clicked!
The biggest pro of the Canon EOS Rebel T3i Camera is its ease of use. However, I also love the multiple settings for varying settings, time of day, etc. As a blogger, it’s essential to have a good quality camera, and while my iPhone take care of the majority of my deal blog posts, I needed a better camera for recipe, review, and craft posts! This is my first step into the world of professional cameras, and I have been seriously impressed with this camera for the cost. I have a parent at one of my schools who is a professional photographer, and has a $4,000+ camera! So, the price for the quality of this camera has been very impressive! I purchased my camera approximately one year ago, and feel it was the best money I ever spent on my business and personal life too!
Pros:
-Ease of use (Point and click most of the time)
-Timer (we have used this countless times for taking family photos)
-Picture quaity- AMAZING!!!!
-High quality video capabilities
-Sports setting- Allows me to take several photos within a few seconds, and still get great shots. This was awesome for my son’s soccer season, and when he’s on the move!
Cons- While I don’t really consider the cons to be super big cons, you need to think about these factors!
-Battery life isn’t as long as a regular digital camera. (We invested in an extra battery and car charger to help extend the life of the camera when we are on the go!)
-Camera is definitely more bulky than a small digital camera, but the picture quality is TOTALLY worth it!
-Expense. Since this camera is definitely more expensive than a normal digital camera, I keep it insured!

I really like my Rebel T3i too. I did a lot of research before buying it and picked it as a great camera for my food blog. With a 50 mm lens it performs as close as I can get to the super expensive cameras without my buying a super expensive camera! It was great for a beginner like me and I am learning each time I use it.
