I wanted to share a story about why couponing and deals SHOULD be saving you money. It all comes back to the Math and economics of couponing. I recently spoke with a friend who was a Math teacher for a very long time. She coupons avidly like me, and she donates a lot of her extra free purchases. She’s an amazing lady, and after every purchase, she reads the “you saved” part on her receipt. She takes that money and puts it in a savings account. After about six years of doing that, she has saved up over $30,000. Not only does she give out of what she buys, but she also saves. This is why couponing should save you money! It’s fun, helpful, and can be used for a good cause. Sometimes I don’t think people realize why couponing is FUN. This is one of those stories I like to use for an example!
